This blog is a project of UC Santa Barbara Asian American Studies students. This is a conversation and dialogue about Asian Americans in the media and Asian American popular culture. This course looks at Asian American history and society through visual art, film, and pop culture. Through these media forms, we will examine the diversity of Asian Pacific American identities and identifications in both the United States and in the diaspora; gender and sexuality; pervasive stereotypes; family; ethnic and interethnic communities; migration and labor; and anti-Asianism.

I haven’t received an email invitation so I had my friend forward me hers, but this message showed up: Sorry, this activation key has already been used. If you don’t have access to this site, please ask the blog owner to send another. I wrote a blog entry to my own WordPress… I hope you can see it! (I’m not very tech savvy)
